Inside the delicately pavé-set cage rests a vibrant blue bird, hand-assembled with layered crystal work that shifts from deep sapphire to turquoise tones under light. Every element — from the bow-shaped crest to the cascading chains — is crafted by hand, one component at a time.
This piece is not mass-produced, not replicated, and never repeated.
It exists as a single finished work.
🌿 Design Story & Inspiration
The birdcage is a recurring symbol in my work —
a contrast between structure and movement, stillness and life.
This design plays with motion:
the gentle sway of chains, the sparkle of pavé crystals, and the suspended bird that seems ready to sing or fly at any moment.
It is whimsical, slightly theatrical, and intentionally narrative — a brooch that invites curiosity and conversation.
As with all my collectible works, this piece reflects my background in formal jewelry design and my belief that jewelry should tell a story, not simply decorate.
