This piece is one of my 33 graduation designs, created during my final year as a jewelry student at Birmingham City University, where craftsmanship and material discipline were treated as seriously as design itself.
These earrings are not a trend piece.
They are the result of obsessive handcraft, experimental color balance, and an uncompromising approach to enamel work that I continue to follow today.
🟨 STORY & DESIGN CONCEPT
Inspired by flowers found in nature, this design introduces a deliberate sense of rebellion—a quiet tension between softness and boldness.
The hand-applied enamel petals bloom with vibrant pink and ivory tones, edged in antique gold.
They feel alive, luminous, and expressive—yet never overpower the wearer.
Beneath the flower, cascading crystal tassels extend the line of the neck, creating a long, elegant silhouette that flatters both short hair and long hair, day or night.
This balance—between nature and defiance, elegance and individuality—is what makes this piece unmistakable in a crowd.
🟨 CRAFTSMANSHIP & MATERIALS
I don’t say this lightly:
our enamel work is obsessive.
Each enamel surface is layered, fired, polished, and inspected repeatedly to achieve a depth, gloss, and smoothness that feels almost unreal—like a flower frozen at its most vibrant moment.
This level of finish is the result of years of training, failures, and refinement.
It is not mass-producible. It is not repeatable.
🟨 WHY IT’S COLLECTIBLE
