1. Product Details
These long statement earrings are built around a vivid contrast of turquoise blue, warm coral, and antique gold, creating a rich vintage palette that feels distinctive without becoming overly ornate.
The structural base is made from H65 brass, chosen for its stability and its suitability for detailed jewelry construction. The metal is finished with 24K gold plating, giving the earrings a warm aged-gold tone that complements the natural stones and strengthens the overall antique character.
At the upper section, pieces of turquoise are carefully arranged into a dimensional floral composition. Rather than presenting the turquoise as a single polished cabochon, the design uses multiple irregular turquoise elements to build volume and texture. Their natural matrix patterns remain visible, giving each earring small variations that emphasize the individuality of the material.
Below the turquoise floral section hangs a layered combination of pale pink accents, natural coral beads, openwork gold-toned metal caps, and rounded metal elements. The coral introduces a soft salmon-orange tone that contrasts beautifully with the cooler turquoise above.
The earrings finish with elongated turquoise drops, creating a strong vertical line. This extended silhouette visually lengthens the neck and gives the earrings movement whenever the wearer turns or walks.
The composition is especially successful because the different materials are not arranged symmetrically as simple beads on a chain. Each section has its own shape, texture, and visual weight, producing the feeling of a small wearable assemblage rather than a conventional mass-market drop earring.
Every pair is assembled and finished by hand. The combination of turquoise, natural coral, sculptural floral construction, vintage-toned metalwork, and long proportions gives the design a distinctive small-batch quality that is increasingly difficult to find in standardized jewelry production.
Please note: these are pierced earrings, not clip-on earrings.
2. My Story & Craft
My name is Lisa. I am a second-generation jewelry artisan and a graduate of the School of Jewellery at Birmingham City University.
I grew up around my father’s workshop, where jewelry was never simply a finished object displayed in a case. I saw the stages behind it—the drawing, wax work, casting, polishing, setting, finishing, plating, and repeated corrections that happen before a piece is considered complete.
My father’s craftsmanship helped support my education, and I later carried that family experience with me to Birmingham, where I studied jewelry design professionally. The techniques accumulated through two generations continue to influence the way I work today.
I do not want my jewelry to feel like anonymous accessories selected from a wholesale catalog. I design pieces for people who can recognize the difference between a standardized product and an object shaped by a maker’s decisions.
For me, small irregularities in natural stone, hand assembly, unusual proportions, and difficult-to-repeat combinations are not weaknesses. They are part of what gives jewelry character.
I hope my pieces can be worn for years, collected, remembered, and eventually associated with a particular period of the wearer’s life rather than disappearing with a temporary fashion trend.
3. Styling Suggestions
Vintage Silk & Evening Dresses
Pair these earrings with a silk maxi dress, velvet evening dress, or softly draped vintage-inspired gown. Shades such as ivory, black, camel, terracotta, deep brown, or muted coral will allow the turquoise to become the visual focus.
Because the earrings already have strong color and length, keep the neckline relatively clean and avoid adding another large statement necklace.
Linen & Relaxed Natural Styling
The turquoise and coral combination works beautifully with linen dresses, relaxed shirts, natural cotton, and softly structured summer tailoring.
Cream, sand, oatmeal, tobacco brown, and warm beige provide a calm background that makes the stone colors appear especially rich.
Bohemian Styling
For a more expressive look, combine the earrings with flowing dresses, textured fabrics, suede, leather accessories, or layered vintage garments.
The natural-stone palette gives the earrings a free-spirited character while the antique gold structure keeps the overall look refined rather than overly casual.
Modern Tailoring
They can also be worn with a minimalist black, ivory, or neutral-toned suit.
Against simple tailoring, the long turquoise-and-coral silhouette becomes an intentional artistic accent and adds personality to an otherwise restrained outfit.
For both everyday outings and evening occasions, an updo, low bun, ponytail, or hair tucked behind the ears will reveal the full length of the earrings and emphasize the neck-lengthening effect.
4. Who I Design For
I create jewelry for people who are tired of seeing the same shapes, materials, and predictable combinations repeated everywhere.
These earrings are especially suited to women who appreciate independent designer jewelry, natural stones, vintage-inspired objects, small-batch craftsmanship, and collectible accessories.
I also design for women who use jewelry as part of their identity rather than simply as decoration.
Some of my customers prefer unusual natural materials. Others collect statement jewelry, enjoy antique and vintage aesthetics, work in creative professions, visit galleries, or simply want something that will not look identical to what everyone else is wearing.
This piece is not intended to disappear quietly into an outfit. Its purpose is to create recognition—a detail someone remembers.
For collectors, the combination of hand assembly, natural turquoise variation, coral, uncommon proportions, and limited production also gives each pair an individual quality that makes it suitable for a personal jewelry collection.
5. A Meaningful Gift For
These earrings make a thoughtful gift for a woman who values individuality more than conventional luxury.
They are especially suitable for a jewelry collector or vintage enthusiast who enjoys unusual materials and limited artisan pieces; an independent woman with a strong personal style who prefers accessories that are not widely available; a wife, partner, sister, or close friend for a birthday, anniversary, personal milestone, or memorable celebration; or a creative professional, artist, designer, or fashion lover who enjoys jewelry with strong color, texture, and sculptural presence.
They are also a meaningful choice for someone who already owns many conventional pieces and is increasingly looking for jewelry with greater individuality and collecting potential.
Because natural turquoise and coral create subtle differences from piece to piece, the gift feels more personal than a perfectly standardized factory-made accessory.
